Trap-Loc® Siding was designed by the founder of Top Down Siding, LLC, Eric Swanson. Eric is a fourth generation carpenter/builder and the son of an architect/engineer. In 2004, after experiencing the devastating effects of two eye wall hurricane strikes, occurring less than three weeks apart, it became apparent to Eric that old construction methods needed to be replaced by new ideas. This was especially clear in the areas of siding, soffits and roofing. Shortly after, the Top Down Trap-Loc® designs were born.
